Join us as Camp Bluegrass 2012 Celebrates
Bill Monroe's Centennial Year, July 15 through July 20, 2012.

Camp Bluegrass is a one-week residential picking camp for bluegrass musicians. It is held each July at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas located 30 miles West of Lubbock. Campers stay in dorms on campus or in conveniently located RV sites. Motels are also available in town. Food service is provided in the SPC cafeteria.

Camp Bluegrass 2012 celebrates Bill Monroe’s 100th birthday year with a special week of activities dedicated to the Father of Bluegrass Music! Faculty includes former members of Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Boys: Roland White (guitar ‘67-‘69,) Robert Bowlin (fiddle ‘93-‘96) and Jim Moratto (banjo ‘73-‘74.)  Faculty will devote class time to Monroe’s music.
